Mill Town

Project Description

The Mill Town development will be the culmination of a public-private-partnership between Vintage Partners, the City of Flagstaff, and the Arizona Department of Transportation.  Originally conceived by the City in the early 2000’s as a transportation project to provide relief to Milton road traffic and improve the safety of the University and Milton intersections.  Because the Realigned University Avenue would need to pass directly thru the existing headquarters of the Northcentral District of ADOT, and neither the City or ADOT had funds to move ADOT’s operations to another site, a P3 was conceived to bring in a developer that would facilitate the moving of ADOT, allow the City to construct the road improvements and be left with a valuable property on Milton Road ready for development. Vintage Partners was selected thru a public procurement exercise as the development partner in 2013.

Hunn Development was brought in by Vintage in 2014 to serve as project manager over this highly complex group of projects, including renovation of the Harkins Theaters into the new ADOT Headquarters, managing the entitlements for the Mill Town project, managing the design of the new City road project, and serve as coordinator of the Monthly P3 Partnership meetings.
